Engaging Youth in Politics
Navdeep is a strong advocate of engaging youth in politics. He has promoted civic engagement and the “vote 16” initiative at St. Francis Xavier, Turner Fenton, Lincoln Alexander and John Cabot Secondary Schools.  Navdeep has also been a guest speaker on the role of the Federal Government at post secondary education institutions at York University, McGill University, Carleton University, Concordia Universitsy, Wilfred Laurier University, University of Waterloo, University of Windsor, McMaster University and University of Western.

Community Involvement
Navdeep is passionate about giving back to the community.  He is actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Guru Gobind Singh Children’s Foundation (GGSCF).  He also sponsored and passed a bill entitled “National Blood Donor Awareness Week” which received all-party support and established the first such week in CanadaNavdeep has also presented legislation to combat human trafficking and addressing mental health issues.

Public Speaking
Navdeep is an engaging speaker who has a fresh perceptive and strong voice on public policy and current affairs. He is a frequent guest on CBC's Power and Politics, CTV's Power Play, CPAC's Prime Time Politics and TVO's the Agenda. Navdeep has also contributed editorials to major newspapers including The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail and The Hill Times (see Selected Publications tab).
